Vijay's Jilla Telugu remake: Mohan Lal's role in focus

Vijay's Jilla and Ajith's Veeram are doing extremely well not only at the Kollywood Box Office, but also in the market overseas. The movies' box office collections are running into crores.

While Vijay's Jilla collected more than Rs 73 crores in the first ten days after its release, Ajith's Veeram had collected about Rs 69 crores when we last heard. So the competition is cut throat now although theatres are jam-packed for both movies.

Now, one wonders what's so great about the two movies. Well, we won't tell you that but do watch it to know it. What we are now going to tell you is that the hit talk for both movies has generated a lot of interest from other film-makers to remake the film.

The buzz in the T town is that Vijay's Jilla is going to be remade in Telugu. And we hear the director of Jilla, Neason himself will weild the megaphone for Telugu version too.

The buzz in the filmnagar circles is that both Mahesh Babu and Ram Charan are being considered to reprise Vijay's role.
