The longest-running movie in Indian history had iconic scenes that have etched a corner for themselves in most Indians’ hearts! Be it when Raj serenaded Simran in the lush green fields of Punjab or when Raj pulled Simran into the train, theatres were filled with whistles, and most young hearts wished for a similar love story.
Now, according to reports, Aditya Chopra is planning a remake of the film. And interestingly, Kajol and Shah Rukh will also be seen in the film, but only for a cameo! The story will reportedly be rewritten to suit the present day audience and their sensibilities, and has been tentatively titled ‘Dulhaniya Chali Dilwale Ke Sath’. Though the reports haven’t been confirmed yet, it would be interesting to see if this project becomes a reality.
