Well, we know that she will be seen in a powerful role in Mahesh Babu-Tamannaah starrer Aagadu which is being directed by Srinu Vaitla. However, the buzz doing the rounds in Kollywood circles is nothing to cheer about.

We all know that the Malayalam blockbuster Drishyam is being remade in both Telugu and Tamil. While Venkatesh and Meena have been confirmed as lead actors for the Telugu version, Tamil remake was to star Kamal Haasan and Nadiya. However, grapevine has it that Nadiya has been replaced bu Simran. Wonder what went wrong. But all we can say is that Nadiya did lose out on a great opportunity - that of acting opposite the legendary actor Kamal Haasan.
Let's hope Mahesh's movie Aagadu gives her enough scope to further her prospects in Southern cinema.
