Addressing women’s problems

Actor Sai Kumar, who is starring in the Telugu- Kannada bilingual ‘Janmasthanam’, said that it’s a film with a difference. “It’s a social drama addressing the current problems of women. I play a powerful role, a role will make people to introspect,” said the actor who has sported multiple looks for the film. Currently in post-production, the film, directed by Om Sai Prakash, is a production of K Rayanna.

The director says, “As soon as the story started to take form, we’ve decided to make in both Telugu and Kannada. Rayanna’s friends stood by him during tough times.” Also starring Krishna Chandra, Shama Singh, Ranganath, Tanikella Bharani, MS Narayana and Sana in supporting roles, the film has music by Vandemataram Srinivas.
