The film which will release in the summer of 2015, has been in the making for two years and is being extensively shot at various locations in the country. The team is presently shooting in Bulgaria, it is heard.

For some time, several speculations in relation to the film’s budget have been doing the rounds. From Rs 130 crore to Rs 150 crore, several numbers came to the fore but according to sources from the film’s unit, the actual figure is said to be much higher!

‘Baahubali’, a prestigious project for Rajamouli, will be made in to two parts and will simultaneously release in Tamil as well.

The film’s high budget is said to be due to the lavish sets and international teams (involved with ‘Lord of the Rings’ and ‘Avengers’) working on the VFX. Also, there is a great deal of hype surrounding the film because of the involvement of director Rajamouli who hasn’t seen a failure till date. There is also a great deal of curiosity surrounding the film due to its star cast. The producers reportedly feel that with the big names involved, it will be easy to recover the budget.

The film is being produced under the Arka Media Works banner and has music by MM Keeravani.
