Deepika rejects llayathalapathy Vijay film

It's a known fact that Illayathalapathy Vijay is busy with the shooting of AR Murugadoss Kaththi. He will be next seen in a social fantasy to be directed by Chumbudevan. We hear that the entire cast of the film has been finalised with big names like yesteryear actress Sri Devi and Sandalwood star Kichcha Sudeep.

If a grapevine doing the rounds in Kollywood circles is to be believed, then Bollywood's reigning queen Deepika Padukone was approached to play the female lead. However, it is learnt that she rejected the offer saying she was busy with international shows and Bollywood films and thus has no time to spare. This news has disappointed the Illayathalapathy who was keen on playing the lead opposite the diva. Perhaps next time huh?
