Kangna to play an athlete in Tanu Weds Manu 2

After playing the conventional and innocent Rani in ‘Queen’, Kangna Ranaut will now take up the role of a sportsperson in the sequel to the hit rom-com ‘Tanu Weds Manu’; she will be playing a triple jumper. The sport falls under the track and field category. We also hear that apart from Kangna's trainer Aakash Kuchekar, yet another physical trainer Suneeta Dubey who is experienced in triple jumps, has been roped in for the purpose.

Shooting for the film has already begun in Lucknow the other day, but the portions where she is shown playing the sport are likely to be shot in Chandigarh. Kangna will practice during these schedules. Kuchekar and Dubey will work in tandem to get Kangna in perfect shape. Produced by Eros International and written by Himanshu Sharma, ‘Tanu Weds Manu 2’ also stars R Madhavan. South superstar Dhanush is doing a cameo.
