Sai pins hopes on Romeo

Awaiting the release of ‘Romeo’ Friday, actor Sai Ram Shankar says he plays the role of a Visakapatnam guy who gets a chance to visit the historic Verona city in Italy. “On his journey to Verona, he comes across this NRI girl Adonica. He falls for her and how he wins her love forms the story,” he says. “My character, to say, is on the lines of Ravi Teja’s character in ‘Idiot’.”

Sai’s elder brother Puri Jagannadh has penned story of the film. “After ‘Bumper Offer’, Annaya has written the story keeping me in mind. Ravi Teja has enacted a guest role in the film and it goes with the story,” says Sai who is shooting for ‘Jagadamba’ currently. Quiz him when is he going to feature in his brother’s directorial venture again, he says, “Firstly, I need to give a super hit and reach to a point where I can think of acting in his direction. For now, I am happy with my films.”
