Hudhud Cyclone Destroys Vizag Theatres

Hudhud cyclone affected Tollywood film industry indirectly. As a result around 250 theaters were closed in the districts of Vizianagaram, Srikakulam, and Vizag. The theater managements are facing severe crisis due to lack of Diesel for powering up generators.

“The theaters are in stale state due to lack of power and diesel,” said movie producer, distributer Suresh Babu.

It’s still unclear when the power will be restored. As the theaters were closed, movies like ‘Oka Lila Kosam’ are losing their collections. According to sources it will still take another 20 days to full reestablish the power lines to all theaters.
