Comedian Leslie Jones joins Saturday Night Live

Comedian Leslie Jones has been roped in for 40th season of late-night comedy show Saturday Night Live.

Jones, who was associated with the show as a writer, now joins as a full-fledged cast member, reports people.com

Jones will make her first official appearance when Jim Carrey hosts the show on October 25. Meanwhile, she will continue her stay as a writer.
