Pawan Kalyan-starrer ‘Gabbar Singh 2’ has finally got a lead heroine. Anisha Ambrose, who made her debut with ‘Alias Janaki’ a year back, has been roped in to romance the cop on the rampage.

A Telugu speaking girl settled in Orissa, she has expressed her desire to star alongside the actor during the promotions of ‘Alias Janaki’.
Meanwhile, the film, which was supposed to go on floors from November, will now flag off from December with a short schedule. Confirming the development, Pawan’s friend and partner of the film, Sharrath Marar, said that they are aiming for a May 2015 release. Pawan’s PR machinery stated that the film will not be an extension of ‘Gabbar Singh’. “It will be a love story interspersed with romance, loads of action and humour,” read a statement.
Besides Brahmanandam, Ali and Narra Srinu, Antakshari gang (from Gabbar Singh) will also be a part of the second installment. The likes of Jaynan Vincent (cinematography), Anand Sai (art direction) and Devi Sri Prasad (music) will form the technical department while Harish Pai, a close friend of Pawan, will be the creative head. ‘Power’ director Bobby will helm the film.
