"There's certain movies that we went a little overboard. The fact of the matter is, this is life. You make movies and do things. Some of the stuff is successful, and some stuff go down the toilet," he said.

He said, "I've had great successes and a lot of things that went in the toilet and failed. There's no science to the whole thing".

"You read scripts and think it's a great idea, and then when you see it and realise that it's not quite how you envisaged it, you move on," he added.
