It’s been more than seven months since the remake of ‘Bangalore Days’ was announced by producers Dil Raju and Prasad V Potluri but the Telugu-Tamil bilingual has hit rough weathers time and again. After Siddharth decided to opt out of the multi-starrer, the makers, we hear have been on a frantic search to find a suitable actor to replace him. And it seems the search has finally ended with director ‘Bommarillu’ Bhaskar taking Sharwanand into confidence.
It is worth mentioning that the actor commands a decent following in Tamil, courtesy ‘Engaeyum Eppothum’ (Journey in Telugu). Though an official confirmation is awaited, the actor, more or less, is likely to take part in the shooting shortly.
Actors Arya and Nithya Menen are already a part of the film which traces the sequence of events of three cousins who are in their 20s. The story, it is understood, has been tweaked to a great extent to suit both Telugu and Tamil audiences.
