If one goes by grapevine doing the rounds in the CMO, then there is every possibility that popular actor Mahesh Babu could well be the brand ambassador of Hyderabad. Sources opine that the man strongly favouring this proposal is Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, who wishes to negate increasing comments that the image of Hyderabad has taken a beating.

Rao is reportedly keen on having a brand ambassador to promote his ideas like cleaning of Hussainsagar and construction of skyscrapers in a bid to make Hyderabad a global city. Reportedly, he has discussed with trusted aides about having the non-controversial actor as the city’s brand ambassador
It is believed that Rao has an affinity for Mahesh Babu’s father and yesteryear actor Krishna, which was evident during the inauguration of the Continental Hospitals recently. Political circles opine that the move will swing a sizeable vote towards TRS in the upcoming Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) polls.
