Jr artiste Kalyani arrested on charges of gambling. A small time Tollywood comedian actress who shot to fame with her \"Abbaa Bobby\" dialogue in Raviteja\'s film Mirapakai was caught red-handed while playing cards at an illegal gambling den in Vanasthalipuram area, late on Sunday night.
Hyderabad: A small time Tollywood comedian actress who shot to fame with her "Abbaa Bobby" dialogue in Raviteja's film Mirapakai was caught red-handed while playing cards at an illegal gambling den in Vanasthalipuram area, late on Sunday night.
Kalyani also known as Karate Kalyani, was found playing cards with 11 others when Task Force sleuths raided the den at Jahangir Colony in Vanasthalipuram area. While some of the gamblers tried to run, police chased and overpowered them.
She acted in more than 100 films and essayed few negative roles in TV serials too. Acting on a tip-off, the sleuths conducted the raid and arrested eleven other gamblers along with the character artiste and recovered Rs 75,000 and eight mobile phones from the spot.
