Too much water in the sponge

This animation film aims to take you to Neverland and away from humans. Yet, there’s a line which says “one thing worse talking-people is singing-birds.” I strongly disagree.

‘The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out of Water’ has a wide canvass and a plethora of characters who go to exotic places. Me thinks food is uppermost on their minds and tongues and so Krabpatties is top of the menu.

Says one of them “if I know they were in short supply I would have chewed them slowly.” So begins the search for the Krabpatties recepie.

Apart from the hero SpongeBob there’s Kitchen Sponge, Krusty Krab, pet snail who meows like a cat, Patrick Star and cute Squirrel. And of course the other half of the title SquarePants. Their only agenda: fun and frolic.

That’s okay for starters. But how long can these yackity-yaks keep you going. For me, they were too loud but then the target audience is children and it has some clever lines to keep them cerebral. Their attention-span too is much, much longer. Anyway its much better than that big fat lie ‘Playing it Cool’.
