In a shocking incident, Telugu TV actress Harjit Kaur aka Rupa attempted suicide on Sunday morning. Police managed to rescue her from drowning when she jumped into Hussain Sagar Lake.
Apparently, Rupa was in a live-in relationship with Keval Singh, an employee of private bank and had hassled her to quit acting career.
Rupa who has earned fame through her acting career in five years, intented to get married to Mr Singh but faced a rejection as he refused to tie the knot.
Rupa is known for her shows - Chandramukhi, Auto Bharati, Shikaran and Antanthpuram.
