“My music teacher taught me Sa Re Ga Ma Pa, but did not return after that and that is where my desire to sing stagnated,” Sonakshi said. When Sonakshi shared this desire, the show’s co-judge Vishal Dadlani promptly added: “She is a good singer.
We are doing a film titled ‘Akira’ where Sonakshi is the ‘hero’. I promise you that she is going to sing in that film.” Sonakshi, who delivered a memorable performance in ‘Lootera’, also said she wanted to sing in the Vikramaditya Motwane-directed film. “I love the song ‘Sawaar Loon’ and would have definitely sung it for myself,” said Sonakshi.
