One idea can make many movies. Director SV Krishna Reddy says there’s no dearth of stories in the Telugu cinema industry. “If the screenplay of movies like ‘Subhalagnam’ and ‘Mavichiguru’ are changed, a new story can be brought to the screen.
Director SV Krishna Reddy says there’s no dearth of stories in the Telugu cinema industry. “If the screenplay of movies like ‘Subhalagnam’ and ‘Mavichiguru’ are changed, a new story can be brought to the screen. A small idea is enough to make a movie,” he said.
He added that the same thought took him to Hollywood and caused him to take a break from Telugu cinema. “I wondered if it was not possible for me to make a film on par with their technical values and that resulted in ‘Divorce Invitation’ which has the main theme similar to that of ‘Ahvanam’,” said the director.
Having made a splash with several back to back hits a decade ago, he says he will soon be back with a mass entertainer. “I will be announcing a complete commercial film which will have all the aspects that the public desires,” he shared.
