After Pokiri, Idiot Puri names Varun Tej movie Loafer
Loafer: Puri-Varun Tej film. Keeping up with his reputation of selecting hatke titles for his films, director Puri Jagannadh has decided that his next venture with Varun Tej will be titled ‘Loafer’. This will be on the lines of his series of mass titles over the years with ‘Idiot’, ‘Pokiri’ and ‘Desamuduru’ being the most popular amongst them.

Keeping up with his reputation of selecting hatke titles for his films, director Puri Jagannadh has decided that his next venture with Varun Tej will be titled ‘Loafer’. This will be on the lines of his series of mass titles over the years with ‘Idiot’, ‘Pokiri’ and ‘Desamuduru’ being the most popular amongst them.
“The film will not just be an entertainer but will incorporate a mother sentiment and a dose of action. This will be Varun’s first mass flick,” said C Kalyan who will be producing this film on his CK Entertainments banner.
The shooting of the film which stars newbie Disha Patani as the female lead will commence from July 1 and will continue nonstop for three months before wrapping up in September. The film will largely be shot in Jodhpur, Rajasthan. Sunil Kashyap will score the film’s tunes. ‘Loafer’ will have a Dasara 2015 release.
