Petrol Bomb Hurled At Madurai Theatre Screening Baahubali. A popular theatre screening SS Rajamouli\'s Baahubali in Madurai was attacked by a section of people with a petrol bomb on Wednesday.
A popular theatre screening SS Rajamouli's Baahubali in Madurai was attacked by a section of people with a petrol bomb on Wednesday.
A few activists from 'Tamil Puli' organisation attacked the theatre with a petrol bomb for screening Baahubali.
Alleging that the film hurt the sentiments of tribal community, the Tamil Puli members attacked the theatre. They alleged that the film has shown the tribal community in a bad light and also demanded the makers of the film to delete the scenes from the film immediately.
The activists allegedly barged into the theatre and fled after hurling a petrol bomb. The glasses of the theatre were completely damaged in the attack.
It may be recalled here that Telangana Mala JAC lodged a complaint against the makers of the film saying that some scenes in the film hurt the sentiments of the tribal community.
