Chay-Gautham’s flick, an actioner. Filmmaker Gautham Menon, who is back in the spotlight after the super success of ‘Yennai Arindhaal’ (Yentha Vaadu Gaanie in Telugu), dismissed reports that his yet-to-be-titled next with Naga Chaitanya is a pure love story.

Filmmaker Gautham Menon, who is back in the spotlight after the super success of ‘Yennai Arindhaal’ (Yentha Vaadu Gaanie in Telugu), dismissed reports that his yet-to-be-titled next with Naga Chaitanya is a pure love story. “It is the story of a regular guy but is laced with action. We’re almost half-way through the filming,” he said.
The film is being made in Tamil too with Simbu playing the lead. Malayalam actress Manjima Mohan is playing the leading lady in both the versions. Gautham says he has been in regular touch with Naga Chaitanya ever since ‘Ye Maya Chesave’ released.
“After starting the Tamil version I called Chaitanya and narrated him the script. He loved it and within no time the Telugu version too went to sets,” he said. Currently progressing in Araku, Visakhapatnam, the film’s title and the first teaser will be unveiled on superstar Nagarjuna’s birthday – Aug 29.
