Neetu Chandra is experiencing the most happening phase of her life. Being the producer of her maiden home production, “Once Upon time in Bihar” that is directed by her brother; Neetu Chandra seems to be on the seventh heaven right now.

She talks about her friends [especially Randeep Hooda] who left her during her slackened period her Tamil films and more in an exclusive rendezvous with Lipika Varma.

“Yes for the past two years I have not done any Hindi film. People have been wondering as to where have I disappeared. Let me tell you I have been doing so many things. Though I did undergo a bad phase. But I am happy that I have now realized work is all that matters.”

On her equation with Randeep Hooda: “Oh! Yes! We are good friends. I am happy that his film is on the release as well my film OUATIB is also releasing simultaneously. I have realized that work is important than anything else here.”
Hinting at Randeep, she adds, “People who may have left me way back as my career was slightly slackened and they may have thought ki arre is ka toh koi career bachchaa hi nahi hai. However, it is a befitting reply to those who thought my career had doomed. Now I am acting as well as producing a film. Also I have a Tamil and a Greece film too. Apart for these films I have two more Hindi films.”

Adding more about her Tamil venture she says, “Vaigai Express is a film directed by Shaji Kailas, I play double role for the first time in this Tamil action film. I essay the role of a Bhartanatyam dancer on one hand while on the other hand I play a hooter’s role too. The characters are so enriching and performance oriented that those who have watched the rushes got divided in their though process. While a handful opined that the dancer’s role is better than the shooter’s role and vice versa. I really liked to perform both the roles. I cannot be like anyone as I am indeed an assimilation of both the characters. On one hand I am a taekwondo and also an actress on the other hand. So I have a little of both in me.”

Talking about her Greece flick, Neetu adds, “I play the Greek Goddess. The film depicts the current socio-political environment that prevails in the Greece. It was a pleasure to be part of this movie. I also have another Hollywood film, about which I will be revealing once everything gets finalized.”

Neetu very proudly announces that she is a Global actress – “Simply because I am doing films all over the globe so I can be termed as the Global actor.”

Lastly she concludes with the Censor Board issues – “The problems we faced in getting censor board certificate seems to be unending, we are hoping to get one before the 30th Oct,2015 as this is our release date. We were asked to remove few names and few words which we are abiding by as we have no other alternative. However, if we were allowed to depict the reality in the film it would have been great. Once Upon A time in Bihar is showcasing the socio political problems faced by the people of Bihar in true sense and is positive film though. My brother is still with the censor board in the meeting while I am talking to you guys.”
