While it was announced a couple of months ago, the filming of Srinivas Avasarala’s ‘Jo Achyutananda' will roll in February next year. While Nara Rohith is already a part of the cast, the actor-turned-director, Hans Talkies has learnt, has locked in Naga Shaurya as another central character. A romedy, the film revolves around three characters -- Achyuta Ramarao, Ananda Vardhana Rao and Jyothi.

Confirming Shaurya’s casting, Avasarala, when contacted, said, “Yes, he is on board. He will be playing Rohith’s brother in the film and both will get equal footage. Right now, they are busy with other commitments and once their dates are sorted out, we will go on to sets in February. We are planning to wrap it up in 50 days over two schedules. It will be a Hyderabad-set drama.”

About his leading lady, Avasarala, who is currently shooting for Trivikram’s ‘A… Aa’, said, “I’m yet to zero in on her. By January I will be able to announce who she is.” To be shepherded by Sai Korrapati on Vaarahi Chalana Chitram, the film’s music, under the supervision of Kalyani Koduri, is currently being recorded.
