Asha Negi, is one of the most prolific youngsters of current time. The super talented actor is the most humble, bubbly and chirpy lady. Asha, who stole our hearts with her performance in shows like ‘Pavitra Rishta’, ‘Ek Mutthi Aasmaan’, ‘Kuch Toh Hai Tere Mere Darmiyaan’, has also tried her hands in hosting Indian ‘Idol Junior’.

Though Rithvik Dhanjani is special to her, just like every daughter, Asha also shares a exceptional bond with her mother Beena Negi. As we chatted with her about this relationship in her life, one can sense the happiness when she spoke about her mom. “My mom is surely very special to me and she is irreplaceable in my life. Her world revolves around me and my family members. She takes care of us so well,” she said.

“Whenever I visit my hometown, I spend most of my time sleeping and having food. And the best part is that knowing my choice, she prepares delicious food for me. I love having rajma chawal (kidney beans and rice). In a way you can say that me and my mother, we bond over food,” added Asha.

So, does she remember any occasion when she fought with her mother? “Though she hardly scolds or shouts at me, I remember once I went to a birthday party stating I would return in an hour and then didn’t come back for the next two hours. That day my mother really got angry and beat me up with a stick (laughs).”

Asha shared, “Mother-daughter relationships are always special. Even our shows and ads are mostly watched by mothers. Hence, I feel audience can easily connect with such medium of art. Such form of arts has always worked for the makers as well as for the audience.”
