Sardaar Gabbar Singh is yet to see the light of the day down south. However, looks like the premiere shows for journalists are underway going by the movie reviews put out by certain websites.

According to a Bollywood website, the film is a thorough entertainer although the plot is predictable. One of the film critic writes thus about Sardaar Gabbar Singh and Pawan's performance.

"The comedy scenes are quite liberal. Even though it is slightly slapstick in nature, seeing the Power Star make fun of himself and everyone around him will give you a few laughs.
