Kabali teaser creates new record for Rajinikanth

Superstar Rajinikanth’s latest flick Kabali's much-awaited teaser is out and is already creating records. Within a few minutes of release, Kabali teaser garnered more than 50,000 views with the hashtags #kabaliteaser, #magizhchi, #KabaliDa, #Thalaivar trending on YouTube. Rajinikanth looks truly mesmerising in the role of a gangster and his trademark punch lines along with his style have left the fans awestruck.

Directed by Ranjith, Kabali teaser opens with Rajinikanth emerging in a suit sporting a white beard with the line ‘Neruppu da’ playing in the background. Replying to a query of a rival as to who is Kabali, the actor in his inimitable style, utters the punch dialogue saying, “You think I am someone who plays a sidekick to villain Nambiar? I am Kabali da.”

Kabali stars Radhika Apte, Dhanshika, Kalaiyarasan and Dinesh among others. Kabali producer Kalaipuli S. Thanu took to Twitter revealing that the teaser crossed one million views in one hour and 1.2 million likes in two hours setting a new record in Indian cinema.
