Jamuna, Kaikala deserve Padma awards: Dasari

Dasari Narayana Rao, who walked in as the chief guest for event, recalled his association with the actors and commended their work and service to the Telugu cinema.
Dasari further expressed concern over why the Govt is not recognising the real talent and honouring actors like Jamuna and Kaikala with Padma awards. “These days, Padma awards are given to the personalities unheard of.
I feel these actors truly deserve such awards because of their contribution to Telugu cinema,” said the veteran director. MAA President Rajendra Prasad, office bearers, actors Sreekanth, Manchu Vishnu, Manoj, etc., took part in the felicitation.
