I like love stories, says Nagarjuna

Nagarjuna, who is selective with his production ventures, admits that love stories fascinate him and it is the reason why he decided to produce the teenage romantic drama ‘Nirmala Convent’ along with bestie Nimmagadda Prasad. “I believe you are not a human if you don’t fall in love. The endorphins that get released and the firing that happens in the brain while in love don’t come from any other emotion. Imagine what the audience goes through whenever they see a nice love story. Especially actors ask for more. We are selfish people; we need to be accepted; we need our films to do well because our survival depends upon them.

I believe everybody has forgotten my last three films and if you ask could I have asked for more? I would say yes definitely,” he replied. “We have to keep reinventing ourselves. For me, at this point of time, it’s just not success; it’s doing new things.”
