Tiger Woods' golf game might not be ready for prime time, but his sense of humor remains in midseason form.

As a guest on the episode of "The Late Show with Stephen Colbert" that airs on Star World Premiere HD in India, the legendary golfer revealed his comic side and exposed the playing styles of US Presidents.

As Colbert listed presidents, Woods chimed in with his impression of their game. First up was George H W Bush, whom Woods said plays “fast,” adding, “He’s very good” and that they typically finish a round of 18 holes in under two hours. Next up was Bill Clinton. “Lots of cuts,” Woods said.

Colbert pushed for more, asking, “Lots of cuts at the ball, or cutting corners?” Wood just laughed and declined to comment further.

As for the current commander in chief, Woods described Barack Obama’s playing style as “extremely competitive,” adding, “He hits it straight” and “longish.” One player he wouldn’t comment on? Donald Trump. “You said presidents,” Woods quipped when Colbert mentioned the GOP candidate.

Woods also opened about his relationship with ex-wife Elin Nordegren. He went through an exceptionally messy divorce after wife Elin Nordegren found out he had been cheating on her with multiple women, yet in an interview last year the golf phenom insisted that his ex-wife was one of his best friends.

When Colbert questioned him about this, he said, “It becomes two simple things, OK? We have Sam and we have Charlie,” he said of the children the ex-couple share. “And we love them so much that we are going to whatever it takes to make that work.

That’s how it happened.” He added further, “She’s been one of my best friends and I’ve talked to her about so many different things and she does the same thing with me back and forth.

We communicate so much better now, it’s incredible. I wish we would have done that earlier on, but it’s been incredible to have a best friend like that.”

The Late with Stephen Colbert airs on Star World Premiere HD in India from Mondat to Friday.
