Maa TV fires 80 employees because of Jr.NTR?

Looks like Entertainment Channels are started giving layoffs to employees after IT Sector. Recently, MAA TV, which was turned as Star Maa after Star group acquired it. Sources informed that they have sacked 80 of its senior-most employees. They have demanded many senior people who are working in various departments to quit their jobs.
People who received layoff were working in the company more than seven years and it is a major shock to employees. A reason behind layoffs hints that, whatever the programs were being telecasted in the channel are not getting good TRP ratings. Even, Mega Star Chiranjeevi's recent reality show Meelo Evaru Koteeswarudu failed to meet the expectations. Apparently, they don't want the same TRP rating when they telecast most popular Big Boss Jr.NTR's show.
