Young hero Raj Tarun is back again with his new flick ‘Raju Gadu’ that was scheduled for a grand release today. The film is in the theatres now, and the makers promised a summer unique wholesome family entertainer. The theatrical trailer of the movie has opened to a great response from everyone.

The film is tipped to be a romantic entertainer. Amyra Dastur is the heroine of the movie. Debutant Sanjana Reddy directs this rom-com entertainer. Senior actor Dr. Rajendra Prasad will be seen in the key supporting role. Check out the review of the movie here.

Story:

Raju (Raj Tarun) suffers from Kleptomania which is about doing theft unknowingly. Because of the same reason, he becomes a love failure. One day he comes across Tanvi (Amyra Dastur) and falls for her in the first sight itself.

He hides the fact that he has Kleptomania and tries to become close. As days pass by, he encounters several conflicts. How did Raju overcome all of them forms the story of the movie?

Performances:

Young hero Raj Tarun played a varied role with a lot of ease. He entertained one and all with decent comedy. Amyra Dastur impressed with her screen presence. She has good looks and also pulled off the role she was offered. Comedian Prudhvi is interesting in the part he was given.

Rajendra Prasad's performance is a significant highlight for the movie. Nagineedu, Rao Ramesh, Sitara, and others are okay in their limited roles. The rest of the actors have made their presence felt.

Technical Aspects:

The Story is given by Maruthi, and it has got an exciting element. The screenplay by Sanjjana Reddy is okay. The dialogues by Veligondla Srinivas are good. The cinematography by B Rajasekhar is excellent.

The film looked vibrant and colorful. Gopi Sunder scored the music for the movie which is good, and the background score also came out well. The editing by MR Varma is impressive. The graphics work and VFX is okay. The artwork is excellent. The film has a crisp runtime. AK Entertainments producers maintained lavish production values which are appreciable.

Verdict:

Rajugadu might fall in the category of movies like Bhale Bhale Magadivoi, Raja The Great and Mahanubhavudu but the entertainment that these movies provided is not given by this film. The actors have done their roles pretty well in the film, but the storyline was not executed properly in the film.

The film lacks strong scenes and excellent characterizations. The climax is a disappointment too. Though the intention of the film is good, it was not translated well. The entertainment that the viewers expect from the film is missing entirely.
