Senior heroine arrested in prostitution racket
Another senior heroine has been caught red-handed while engaged in prostitution. Sangeetha Balan, a former heroine in Tamil industry and now a popular TV actress, was caught from a resort in Panayur of Chennai. The police also arrested a person called Suresh, who was helping her by fixing up appointments.

The police were tipped off about the flesh trade in the resort and they conducted raids. In the raids, Sangeetha was among the several women and customers caught. Sangeetha entered the film industry with Karuppu Roja in 1996. She later became a character artiste and acted in several TV shows and sop operas. As of now, she is doing a TV serial called ‘Vani Rani.’
Valli, Pillainila, Aval, Chellame, Anna Kodiyam and Sabitha allis Sabapati are her popular TV programmes.
