Yesterday Hrithik Roshan shared a picture with his father, actor and filmmaker Rakesh Roshan, stating that he is diagnosed with early stages of throat cancer. He wrote, “Asked my dad for a picture this morning. Knew he wouldn’t miss gym on surgery day. He is probably the strongest man I know. Got diagnosed with early stage squamous cell carcinoma of the throat a few weeks ago, but he is in full spirits today as he proceeds to battle it. As a family we are fortunate and blessed to have a leader like him”

This news had everyone praying and wishing the well being of senior filmmaker Rakesh Roshan and within little time the official handle of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi shared, “Dear Hrithik, praying for the good health of Shri Rakesh Roshan Ji. He is a fighter and I am sure he will face this challenge with utmost courage. @RakeshRoshan_N”

Hrithik Roshan replied and confirmed the well being of his father, he wrote, “Thank you Sir for your concern and good wishes. I am very happy to inform that according to the doctors his surgery has gone off well”

Rakesh Roshan is known for his performance in films like Khoobsurat, Khel Khel Mein and others.

Hrithik Roshan and Rakesh Roshan have collaborated on many hits films, such as Kaho Naa...Pyaar Hai, Koi...Mil Gaya, Krrish, Kites, and Kaabil to name few.

As for Hrithik Roshan, the actor is busy with his forthcoming biographical educational drama Super 30.
