Vivek Oberoi who is gearing up to be Narendra Modi on Screen says to portray him and his qualities on screen is going to be an incredible challenge.
Vivek interacted with media at the poster launch of the upcoming biopic on PM Narendra Modi, titled by the same name, in Mumbai on Monday.
Calling the opportunity a lifetime experience, Vivek said he feels fortunate and honored for the role. "I think this is such an honor and I feel like I am extremely fortunate to be able to do this. Today I feel just like how I felt sixteen years ago when I had just landed the film, 'Company'. I am feeling the same excitement the same hunger.
And this kind of role is a once upon a lifetime experience for any actor. I truly believe that the end of this journey I hope and I pray that I become a better actor and a better human being because of the inspiration that this film is all about."
The film will be directed by Umang Kumar, who has also directed the sports biopic Mary Kom with Priyanka Chopra.
Talking about playing the role on screen he said, "Nandu Bhai is one of the tallest leaders not just in this country but in the world. And to bring him alive on screen, to bring his persona and inspirational qualities on screen is an incredible challenge."
Vivek in the launched poster of the film is unrecognizable due to the prosthetics, makeup, and grey hair. In the look, he is seen sporting a beard in an orange kurta against the backdrop of Indian flag and a sunrise.
The actor also asked for his fans for their blessing, he said, "I would like to reach out to all of you for your support, and love so that we can make this journey possible. All good work can only be started with everyone blessing. We have got dad's blessing and out Cheif Minister Mr.Devendra Fadnavis."
The film is produced by Suresh Oberoi and Sandip Ssingh and set to begin shooting in Mid Jan.
