Hyderabad: Early on Thursday, the customs officials have seized 1.9kgs gold from a passenger arrived at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport from Qatar.
During the regular checks, the customs officials have found a huge quantity of gold being illegally carried by the accused. The police have detained the individual and have been carrying out interrogation.
It’s worth mentioning here that carrying gold illegitimately has been at its peak nowadays. In the last two months, there were more than 25 cases booked in a similar manner.
