Wife kills husband with help of siblings

Hyderabad: Brawl between the married couple led for a murder. Supported by her siblings, a woman killed her husband by hitting him to death. According to Lakshmi Narayana, the Inspector of Police, Nagaraju (35), the victim, was married to Maheshwari sometime before. The victim is a resident of Talakondapalli of Mahabubnagar district. They are from different castes.

The couple have been residing at Krishna Reddy Nagara of Uppuguda in Hyderabad. They have been earning their livelihood by working as the casual labours. Nagaraju has been addicted to liquor and used to have duel with his wife on a regular basis. Three days before Maheshwari’s younger sister Geetha and elder sister Vijayalakshmi arrived at their home.

On Thursday night all four of them consumed the liquor together. During this episode, there was an argument between them. The fuming siblings hit strongly on the head of Nagaraju with a Grinding Poll. Later, they also hit him with a huge stone and killed him to death. Later, they continued consuming liquor in front of the dead body and decided to get rid of the dead body somehow. They poured hot water on his hand and called an auto rickshaw in the pretext of taking him to the hospital stating that he became unconscious after the hot water fell on him. Nevertheless, the attempt turned failure. So, they fled away from the home by leaving the dead body there.

Later, in the evening the neighbours realised the murder of Nagarajau and informed the same to the police. The police rushed the spot and examined the dead body. The dead body was sent to Osmania hospital for post-mortem. Maheshwari has been taken into custody, added sources. More details are awaited.
