RGIA: Bullet Seized From Passenger In Shamshabad Airport. The security staff have seized a bullet from a passenger who was about to leave for Singapore in Tiger Airlines, early on Saturday, at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport of Shamshabad in Hyderabad.
Hyderabad: The security staff have seized a bullet from a passenger who was about to leave for Singapore in Tiger Airlines, early on Saturday, at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport of Shamshabad in Hyderabad. According to sources, the bullet was seized during normal frisking operation carried out. The individual has also been held for interrogation. More details are awaited.
In the recent past, Shamshabad airport has become the gateway for not only for smuggling the goods and precious items, mostly the Gold but also for carrying such unintended items like bullets. Many such incidents have come into the light in the last few months. Despite the fact that the officials of airport are vigilant, many such smuggling incidents have been taking place, giving a way for many misgivings. Though it appeared that the venue has been shifted to Tamil Nadu based airports with the recent incidents, the Wednesday incident has given the indication that RGIA turns to be the most befitting gateway for the smugglers of gold.
