Security guard electrocuted
In a freak mishap, a security guard was electrocuted when he came to contact with a live cable that was dangling from an electric transformer outside a pathological lab near Model House in Punjagutta area on Thursday morning.
Hyderabad: In a freak mishap, a security guard was electrocuted when he came to contact with a live cable that was dangling from an electric transformer outside a pathological lab near Model House in Punjagutta area on Thursday morning. Police identified the deceased as Ajay Kumar, 40, a native of Bihar, working as a security guard for Remedy Lab. The incident occurred at around 8 am when he was walking near the transformer and accidently touched the cable. Local residents hearing his screams rushed to his rescue and tried to yank him away with a stick but death was instant for him. A Clues team has been pressed into service to collect evidence from the spot. Punjagutta inspector S Mohan Kumar who visited the spot carried out a thorough inspection.
