1 dead, 2 hurt in road accident

Hyderabad: One person died and two others sustained injuries when the car in which they were travelling was hit by a bus under Hayathnagr police limits in the wee hours of Sunday. According to police, the accident occurred on NH 65 near Peddamberpet around 2.15 am on Sunday. “The car which was heading towards Ramoji Film City from Hayathnagar was hit by a speeding bus coming from Vijayawada. The car was being driven by one Mahender while Sairam and Anil Kumar were seated. While Anil was declared brought dead, Sairam and Mahender are undergoing treatment at a private hospital,” police said.
