Nandyala: APSRTC was caught in the trap of red sandal smugglers. The red sandal smugglers are improvising their strategies and moves regularly. They are getting bolder by the day. They are searching for the new ways for the sandal movement from one place to another illegally.
Their latest strategy is to use the RTC drivers for the sandal transport. Recognizing the loop hole about the lesser scrutiny of the RTC bus drivers, they are slowly pulling the drivers in to the smuggle web. This entire game plan was brought out based on the complaint of one of the passengers.
The investigation brought out some mind blocking facts. The smugglers operating from Kadapa and Kurnool district are maintaining relationships with 12 bus drivers to help them transport their product. This made the APSRTC a prime topic in the smuggling news discussions.
