Human trafficker among 4 detained under PD Act
Detention orders have been issued against four notorious criminals for indulging in human trafficking, contract marriages, chain-snatchings and illegal finance business here on Friday under Preventive Detention (PD) Act, DCP(S) V Satyanarayana said.
Hyderabad: Detention orders have been issued against four notorious criminals for indulging in human trafficking, contract marriages, chain-snatchings and illegal finance business here on Friday under Preventive Detention (PD) Act, DCP(S) V Satyanarayana said. The detention orders have been served on Md Akbar, 40, Syed Abdul Majeed, 25, Syed Aslam, and Md Sajjad Ali, 30, who are allegedly involved in several gruesome offences.
“Akbar is involved in trading and supplying of minor girls to Arab Sheiks. Similarly, Abdul Majeed and Syed Aslam, both chain-snatchers are involved in 72 and 15 cases respectively. Abdul Majeed was convicted in seven cases and Syed Aslam in 12 cases. Sajjad Ali, a real estate businessman, is an accused in two murder cases in Rein Bazaar and Habeebnagar and served jail term in Warangal,” the DCP said.
