Hyderabad: Manager of Business School and Software Engineer were amongst 31 persons arrested by Task Force during a raid for gambling, at house inside Old MLA quarters on Monday night.

Police seized Rs 8.8 lakhs during the raid. Gambling was going on, on four different tables, each one of which was shared by six persons in house number 707 of Old MLA colony. G Keshav Reddy, 32, a civil contractor and resident of Navodaya Colony, Kukatpally, B Krishna, 48, resident of Sitafalmandi, Sk Imtiaz Basha, 32, native of Kurnool and K Kalyan, 34, resident of Mehdipatnam were identified as the hosts.

Police said that they had violated the Provisions of the AP Gaming Act. The accused who were playing three cards game were from different professional backgrounds, including agriculture, real estate, manager at Indian School of Business, software engineer, textile businessman, supervisor in Deccan Finance, vegetable business, civil engineer, bakery owner and hotel owner.
