Two children drown in well
The bodies of two children Santhosh (8) and Ajay (8) were found floating in an open well at Dharmaraopet village in Kasipet mandal on Friday.
Adilabad: The bodies of two children Santhosh (8) and Ajay (8) were found floating in an open well at Dharmaraopet village in Kasipet mandal on Friday.
The two children went missing after attending a function along with their parents on Thursday night. Villagers spotted them while both of them were walking on the road after having a dinner and warned them not to roam outside during nights. Devapur Sub-Inspector (SI) K Swamy said the children went inside the house where the function was going on after villagers warned them.
After extensive search in the village, parents lodged a complaint with the police. The sub-inspector said the children came out once again and accidently fell into the open well near the house.
A pall of gloom descended on Dharmaraopet village with the death of two children.
