Deaf and dumb girl raped.A deaf and dumb girl was allegedly raped by three people for four months in Kishanbagh, under Bahadurpura police station, police said on Sunday.
Victim gets pregnant; three booked under Nirbhaya Act
Hyderabad: A deaf and dumb girl was allegedly raped by three people for four months in Kishanbagh, under Bahadurpura police station, police said on Sunday.A case under the Nirbhaya Act was booked against Md Irfanuddin, Md Farhanuddin and Md Imranuddin who allegedly raped the girl, a maid servant employed at one Khatija Begum alias Sajida Begum of Kishanbagh. “The girl has been working for the past six years for just Rs 500 per month,” the cops said.
The incident came to light on Sunday after the 20-year-old girl and her mother lodged a complaint with Bahadurpura police station. In her complaint, the mother mentioned that the girl was repeatedly raped by the three accused for the last four months.According to sources, Khatija Begum after learning about the incident called the victim’s mother and brother and informed that the girl was serious and asked them to take her along with them.
The mother suspecting amiss took her for medical examination to Nayapul Hospital where a medical report confirmed that she was pregnant. When contacted ACP (Charminar), K Ashok Chakravarthi, said that the case was under investigation.Based on her complaint (FIR 92/2015), the accused persons have been taken into police custody under relevant sections of the IPC and Nirbhaya Act. Efforts are being made to nab Khatija who is reported to be absconding, the cops said.
Unidentified body found
The Chatrinaka police has found a body of an unidentified man who was “brutally murdered” by unknown persons on Sunday morning.According to police, an unidentified body aged around 30 years was found at an abandoned place near Ex-servicemen Colony in Chatrinaka. Police suspect that the man was murdered by unknown persons on Saturday night. The deceased was wearing blue-coloured T-shirt and blue jeans pant.Police shifted the body to Osmania Hospital mortuary for an autopsy examination and identification and has begun investigation after registering a case of murder.
BTech student dies
A 19-year-old BTech student was killed while two others were injured in a tragic road accident near Medchal petrol pump late on Saturday night. According to Medchal police, the accident occurred on Saturday at 11.30 pm when the deceased, N Vinay, who was riding a bike along with his friends - Nazeer Hussain and Abhishek- fell on the road after the vehicle skidded. They were immediately rushed to a nearby private hospital where Vinay was declared brought dead by the doctors. Nazeer and Abhishek are reported to be undergoing treatment. Vinay was a resident of Kandlakoya and was a student of B Tech first year, the cops said adding that his parents were informed.
