Hyderabad: Two Excise constables were handed over to police by residents of Singareni Colony for allegedly misbehaving with a woman under Saidabad Police Station limits. According to a complaint with the police, two Excise constables of Malakpet office Ganesh, 35 and Raju, 30 started stalking a woman N Susheela for the last two days. As her mother used to sell Gudumba earlier, one of the constables was familiar with the family.

Ganesh, who was new to the locality, has shown keen interest in her. On Friday, he along with his associate remained near her residence for hours in an inebriated condition. Unable to bear the ordeal, she complained to her husband, Ravi, a painter. Both husband and wife hatched a plan to hand over the duo to police by calling them in the night to their residence. At about 9 pm in the night, both reached her house.

While Ganesh entered the house, Raju kept his tabs outside. After entering one of the rooms, the family immediately locked Ganesh from outside. The neighbours, who were informed about the plan prior to the arrival of the constables, caught hold of Raju. They immediately called up the Police Control Room and handed over the duo to the police.
