Private bus without valid permit seized
Road Transport Authority (RTA) officials seized a bus belonging to Akbar Travels here on Friday night for plying without a valid permit. The bus was on its way to Hyderabad from Bengaluru when RTA officials seized it. Officials shifted the bus along with passengers to a bus depot in Anantapur city.
Passengers stranded for the whole night
Anantapur: Road Transport Authority (RTA) officials seized a bus belonging to Akbar Travels here on Friday night for plying without a valid permit. The bus was on its way to Hyderabad from Bengaluru when RTA officials seized it. Officials shifted the bus along with passengers to a bus depot in Anantapur city. However, no alternative arrangements were made to send passengers to Hyderabad until Saturday morning. The RTA officials arranged a special bus to Hyderabad after passengers expressed anguish for making them to stay whole night at the bus depot.
