Youth who bribed zoo official arrested

Areeb Taha Mehdi, who uploaded a video of himself inside the night enclosure of jaguars on a social networking site, was arrested by the Bahadurpura Police Station on Tuesday and produced before the curator, Nehru Zoological Park (NZP). Bahadurpura inspector Kaushik stated that based on the complaint lodged by Maqsood Mohinuddin, assistant curator 1, NZP, Areeb, had visited the zoo last Saturday and bribed the animal caretaker and took photographs
Zoo animal caretaker suspended
Areeb Taha Mehdi, who uploaded a video of himself inside the night enclosure of jaguars on a social networking site, was arrested by the Bahadurpura Police Station on Tuesday and produced before the curator, Nehru Zoological Park (NZP). Bahadurpura inspector Kaushik stated that based on the complaint lodged by Maqsood Mohinuddin, assistant curator 1, NZP, Areeb, had visited the zoo last Saturday and bribed the animal caretaker and took photographs by standing near the night enclosure and uploaded them on Facebook. Gopi Ravi, curator, Nehru Zoological Park, Hyderabad, stated that the animal caretaker has been suspended for dereliction of duty.
