Three killed in road accidents
A 28-year-old software engineer was killed on the spot when the bike he was riding was hit by a water tanker. According to Madhapur police, the accident occurred near Minerva Gardens on Friday night. Kumar was a resident of Madinaguda. In another case, Syed Ibrahim, 82, succumbed to the injuries which he sustained after being hit by an auto-rickshaw.

He met with the accident near his residence in MS Maqta on Friday night. He was immediately rushed to Nizam's Institute of Medical Sciences (NIMS) where he was declared brought dead, according to Punjagutta police. In a different case, a 55-year-old man was killed on the spot after he was hit by a RTC bus on Tank Bund road on Friday night.
The Gandhi Nagar police later identified the deceased as Ch Kondaiah, a resident of Lower Tank Bund and security guard at GHMC Headquarters. He met with the accident while returning home from duty.
