6 year old boy kindnapped at Afzalgunj
A six-year old boy was kidnapped by an unknown woman at Afzalgunj on Monday. The police on Tuesday released the sketch of the accused woman and appealed the public to inform the police if the accused woman was spotted.
Hyderabad: A six-year old boy was kidnapped by an unknown woman at Afzalgunj on Monday. The police on Tuesday released the sketch of the accused woman and appealed the public to inform the police if the accused woman was spotted.
According to Afzalgunj inspector C Anjaiah, a complaint was received from Nagamani, housewife from Chatri Ramnath Asram area in Begum Bazaar, stating that her younger son Karthik (6) was kidnapped by an unidentified woman.
On Monday afternoon, the woman, aged about 40 years, went to Nagamani’s house. She persuaded Karthik to accompany the woman on the pretext of showing her liquor shop.
After buying alcohol, the accused had hired an auto-rickshaw and asked Karthik to board, promising to drop him at their home, but took him along with her and drove away.
Inspector Anjaiah said that basing on the footage of CC Cameras and description given by the complainant, a sketch of the accused woman was prepared. He said that special teams were formed to rescue the boy and nab the accused woman.
